Terms of service
Last updated 2 November 2026
These terms apply to studios that sign up for Project Book. Project Book is run by Keith O’Loughlin, Dublin, Ireland (“we”). Contact: hello@projectbook.ie. If you are booking a class as a client of a studio, your agreement is with that studio; its own booking and cancellation rules apply.
The service
Project Book provides online booking, payments, client records, intake forms, email, and the other features listed on our website, for your studio and your clients. We set the service up for you and keep it running, and we may improve or change features over time. We will tell you before removing anything you rely on.
Fees
- You pay the monthly price for your plan, plus VAT, and the one-off onboarding fee agreed when you sign up.
- Fees are billed monthly in advance. There is no long-term contract: you can cancel at any time and the service runs to the end of the month you have paid for.
- Card payments from your clients are processed by Stripe through your own Stripe account. Stripe’s fees are between you and Stripe. You are the seller for anything your clients buy.
- We may change our prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your staff logins secure and give access only to people who need it.
- Make sure you are allowed to hold and use your clients’ data, including health information and marketing consent, and that your own booking, cancellation and refund rules are clear to your clients.
- Use Project Book lawfully. Don’t send spam, upload content you don’t have the rights to, or try to break or overload the service.
Your data
Your studio’s data and your clients’ data belong to you. We process client data only on your instructions, as your data processor, as described in our privacy policy; these terms include our data processing commitments to you. You can export your data at any time, and when you leave we return it on request and delete it within 90 days, apart from records we must keep by law.
Availability and support
We aim to keep Project Book available at all times and to fix problems quickly, but we cannot promise the service will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or an outage at one of our providers. Support is by email, and we reply within one working day.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost bookings, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
Ending the service
You can cancel at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or end an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms or doesn’t pay, after giving notice where we reasonably can.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will give at least 30 days’ notice by email of any change that affects you materially. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
